Originally developed and released by Chris Harris and Tim Stone from Ivent Solutions, the company has continued its substantial growth path and is now releasing the next generation iOT cloud based product range. Smart Water is an award winning, proud and passionate New Zealand business with research, development and manufacturing all based locally in Auckland, New Zealand. The result of this high level of engineering and business expertise is an absolutely reliable and world class product that can lay claim to be the very best tank management solution available.
Chris Harris
Technical Director and COO – Chris has over 25 years of electronics experience and is an outstanding electronics engineer in both hardware and software. Chris had the original idea for the Smart Water product based on a need he had on his farm. In true Kiwi "No. 8 fence wire" style he built up a prototype from “parts in the shed”. After a period of intensive research and development he and his team produced a truly unique product. When Chris doesn’t have a soldering iron in his hand he is busy fishing off his jet-ski, four wheel driving or spending time working on his small farm with his trusty dog Mr Wrinkles.
Tim Stone
Managing Director and CEO – Tim has over 20 years of industry experience and has managed leading electronic distributors across New Zealand and Australia. His background is one of project management, production process, sales and business marketing. Tim has a passion for aviation, speedway, fishing, rugby, cricket and is very much dedicated to the local technology industry.
